ORTHOPEDIC PROVIDER URGENT CARE FACILITY

Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Clinic (OSSM) and Orthopedic Physical Therapy Institute (OPTI) have been recognized as the best providers in their field, earning top honors in this year’s Best of North Idaho contest. For the first time, OSSM’s Orthopedic Urgent Care sameday walk-in clinic also received recognition, reflecting their commitment to accessible, highquality care. Headed by eight specialists— Dr. Roger Dunteman, Dr. William Sims, Dr. Douglas McInnis, Dr.

Scott Brown, Dr. Jonathan King, Dr. J. Luke Smith, and Dr. David L.

Parker—the practices have been serving the community for twentyfive years.

“Practice Administrator Lori Halstead said, ‘We provide highquality, cost-efficient medical care to patients looking to resume healthy lifestyles, delivered by Board Certified and Fellowshiptrained world-class surgeons.’” OSSM’s surgical specialties include adult hip and knee replacement, shoulder replacement, arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder, and hip, foot and ankle reconstruction, ACL knee ligament surgery, elbow, wrist, and hand surgery, and fracture care.

“In addition to surgical services, we have board-certified physical and occupational therapists who provide care for patients of all ages suffering from muscle or joint pain,” Practice Administrator Lori Halstead said. She emphasized the practices’ collaborative approach: “Our surgeons have same-day walk-in availability, on-site imaging, and can provide casting, splinting, and bracing. We also offer four convenient physical therapy locations to guide patients through their recovery process.”

Patients consistently praise the care they receive.
